Once again overcast conditions but with some blue sky and fortunately no rain. Green Valley though appears to be extremely popular with tourists though and the course was absolutely crowded. We were hopeful that once we tee-ed off things would get moving but sadly this was not the case and it was a slow, slow round. A good course in good condition at the right price but I am afraid that it will be some time before many of us give it another go. There were 24 golfers
in this round of the Annual Tournament with a few extras in Craig Morriss and Bill Miles and prospective new member Aussie Barry Quirk just moved up from Pattaya, Welcome Bazza. A few good rounds today by Guy Merrett with 69/39, Kieran Savage 70/38, Roger Mack 71/37 and Ian Mackay 76/34 and of course, the many tales of woe and misfortune by the rest of us in the clubhouse. The nearest to the pins went to Guy Merrett and a yet to be decided mystery winner. All the results will be finalised and produced on the presentation night at The Pub, where we will present trophies to the winners and enjoy a Bar-B-Que on Saturday night from 7pm. See you there.
