Once again we were lucky to have no rain during the round with very overcast conditions. They have done something to the fairways which has left them very patchy but while the ground was soft with little or no run at least it was not wet underfoot. The bunkers were Ok and the greens were dry and fast. The winners on the day were Ian Mackay with a 70/38, Scott Lumsden and Malcolm Tetley with a 72/3
6 each and Roger Mack with a 73/35. Kieran also gets an honourable mention with a 74/34 but other than that, the scores were pretty ordinary. The nearest the pin winners were Christian Friis and Roger Mack. Last round is at Green Valley and good luck to you all. The Presentation night is to be held at 'The Pub' on Sat 23 Aug at 7pm.
